Wigs@Salon Vie offer an excellent personal and professional service, with quiet, relaxing and private consulting rooms in a hairdressing environment where time is taken to understand your needs.

There is an extensive range of wigs and hairpieces available giving
you the opportunity to try on as many styles as possible.
Jane and Debbie are able to advise and assist, as they understand how important it is to ensure that you are confident, looking and feeling fabulous whilst wearing your new wig.

Wigs always look more natural if they are fitted correctly, which can be done by making alterations to the foundation, bespoke cutting and styling which Jane and Debbie can offer both.

The psychological effect of hair loss can be severe for some people and we now have this special place to offer support, giving a welcoming feel. Modern wig technology has ensured that wigs are now light, comfortable and so realistic-looking that no one will know that you’re wearing one ... unless you tell them!

WIGS

We have an excellent supply of the highest quality wigs from some of the best suppliers in the world. Jane and Debbie will not only advise you on which type of wig to choose but also on the right colour, once it is fitted and styled professionally the wig will feel and look like you own hair. 

HAIR PIECES

Synthetic or real hair, hair pieces can be great if you have small areas of hair loss and want to have some flexibility. From a piece to enhance or extend your ponytail, to helping you feel confident day to day.

HAIR TOPPERS

These can provide a subtle way of having more volume and still allow the incorporation of your own hair.

Our range is designed specifically for hair loss wearers and is perfect for a comfortable alternative to a wig. The beautiful designs and patterns change with
the seasons, to reflect fashions, seasonal fabrics and trends.

Jane is the Director of Salon Vie Hairdressing, she has worked in hairdressing in Nantwich for 30 years. Through her expertise, hard work and commitment Salon Vie has become a multi award winning business being most recently awarded ‘Best Hair Salon in Cheshire’.  Throughout her career she has continued to gain further qualifications, attending courses with Vidal Sassoon, Schwarzkopf, Wella and Mynewhair.org to name but a few. These achievements along with her experience have enabled Jane to train and develop many hairdressers during her career. 

Jane is also committed to raising money for charity, she has recently completed a sky dive for St Luke’s Hospice and the 10K Walk of Hope in aid of The Christie Charity. Finally, after 3 years of Covid, Jane has been able to open Wigs@Salon Vie which is a wonderful service for people who are in need of help and support through their journey. With having experience in the hairdressing industry she has met some wonderful ladies who have been diagnosed with cancer and undergone cancer treatment, many have confided in her and asked advice regarding hair loss and wigs. This has led to a growing interest in Jane providing a wig-fitting service at her Nantwich salon.

Debbie has been with Salon Vie for over 16 years and as a Master Stylist possesses advanced skills in colouring and cutting, these have been achieved by attending courses by Whal, Debbie G, Schwarzkopf, Wella and Mynewhair.org. Debbie specialises in wedding hair but enjoys all aspects of hairdressing which now includes working alongside Jane, personal wig fitting and bespoke cutting.

CONSULTATION

Your first consultation will be a relaxed talk-through, listening to and understanding exactly what your requirements are. You won’t be rushed into making a decision as it is our priority that you feel at ease and happy with your choice. The cost of the consultation is £30 which is redeemable against a wig or hairpiece.

OUR AIM

When a client with hair-loss first comes to the salon, their self-esteem can be at an all-time low, but by the time they leave wearing the correct wig, we want them to feel like themselves again.
